I was born in Leith, and returned here when I retired from my career in education. I enjoy being part of such a vibrant, friendly and diverse community, and believe the Community Centre can play an important part in engaging with and supporting local people. Throughout my professional life I have been privileged to work with many different groups, and in particular have enjoyed the challenge of working with young people. I hope I can make a contribution to creating new ways to meet the current and emerging needs and ambitions of Leithers.
